This is a series of taster sessions into different areas of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). At the end of the 4 weeks, which ever discipline is the most popular will be continued for the remaining weeks of the year. This week is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with the other areas taking place on these days:
- 20th October - Muay Thai
- 27th October - BJJ (No-Gi)
- 3rd November - Kickboxing
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a grappling martial art that focuses on technique rather than strength. In this session you will learn Takedowns, Escapes and Submissions. It is great for building confidence, problem solving skills and fitness.
Gi refers to a traditional uniform which will be provided for you.

You will be required to provide medical information when you sign up to this session. This will be passed onto the coaches in the event of an emergency.
