This is a series of taster sessions into different areas of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). This week is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with the other areas taking place on these days:
- 3rd November - Kickboxing
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a grappling martial art that focuses on technique rather than strength. In this session you will learn Takedowns, Escapes and Submissions. It is great for building confidence, problem solving skills and fitness.
No Gi BJJ teaches the same core grappling skills as Gi BJJ but without the traditional uniform. It's generally faster-paced and uses wrestling style grips, making it popular for both self-defence and MMA.
