Description:
These drop-in sessions are designed to give students the opportunity to develop a range of practical employability and life skills in a relaxed and supportive environment. Each session will be tailored to the needs and interests of the majority of students in the room, meaning the content can be adapted to focus on the areas students feel would be most useful to them.
Sessions will cover a variety of topics that can support students both during university and as they prepare for the workplace.
The sessions will be practical and interactive, giving students the opportunity to discuss different situations, share experiences, ask questions and practise skills they can use in real-life situations. Students will also be encouraged to identify their own strengths and areas for development, helping them build confidence and recognise how the skills they develop through university, work, volunteering and everyday experiences can contribute to their future employability.
