The Task
This will be a session focussed on cleaning our local chalk stream - the river Wye. We may also have some bankside jobs alongside the river.
Timings (please note these timings are approximate):
10.00 Arrival on site for task and safety briefing, please don't be late!
11.30: Tea and coffee break
13.00: Work finishes, time to go home. Thanks for all of your support!
What to bring:
Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task. We will supply waders.
Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.
Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain. You may need a hat and sun cream if it's sunny.
Please bring plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.
