Would you like to learn more about the history of Oxford in a walking tour?
Take a stroll through the city of dreaming spires with one of our experienced guides. Our daily walking tours will take you into one of the oldest University colleges, exploring the historic dining hall, chapel, cloisters and quadrangles.
Learn about the complicated and sometimes bloody rivalry between the city and the University, spanning over a thousand years. Your guide will explain the collegiate system of tutorials unique to Oxford and Cambridge, and the peculiar traditions, pranks and rituals that define student life.
This tour is not accessible to all as it is a walking tour and lasts for 1.5 hours.
