Details
we are seeking a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to help assist in the day-to-day running of The Lounge. Please bear in mind when applying this is a role in which you will be cross trained and will not be designated strictly to one role.
Please note you will need to be available for weekday shifts and weekend shifts from open to close.
Responsibilities
- Help to run food between the kitchen and customers. Whilst doing this you will be expected to check the standards of meals you are running and know the menu to ensure the best service to our customers.
- Tend to customers. This does not necessarily mean you must know how to make all drinks before hand as we may include training, however you will assist the process.

- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, ensuring all utensils and equipment are properly cleaned and stored.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained at all times.
- Support chefs and cooks during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating dishes.
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with meal preparation and service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
- Washing dishes, drying dishes and organising them.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not essential.
- Understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
