Coaching Opportunities with First Gymnastics…

We are looking for enthusiastic coaches to join our team in the Chilterns area.  This is a fabulous opportunity to enhance experience, further develop skills, earn very competitive pay and make a real difference to children in the local community.

Who are we?

First Gymnastics deliver weekly recreational Gymnastics classes and holiday camps to children aged 4-12.  We have classes running in various locations across the UK and have 1200 children attending each week.  Our ethos of SMILE MOVE GROW is at the heart of everything we do. Classes normally take place in local high schools where we use school mats and equipment plus some kit of our own. 

Currently in the Chilterns area we have classes running in High Wycombe and Hemel Hempstead.

What do our coaches do?

Our coaches will deliver the First Gymnastics programme.  This involves setting up and teaching a set of activities to groups of children each week.  We will give guidance but we also encourage coaches to use their own ideas and experience.  Aswell as teaching, coaches will help to manage the class and will also speak to parents and guardians of participants when required. 

Hours and Pay

Pay is between £15 and £25 per hour depending on qualifications and experience

Our classes take place in the evenings and at weekends during term time

Between 3 and 9 hours per week are available with potential for additional hours during holidays coaching in our camps. 

We don’t expect you to give up coaching for your club if you have one.  This can run along side other coaching that you may do.

Who are we looking for?

We need people with a Gymnastics or Cheerleading background with some coaching experience.  Ideally you would have a Level 1 or 2 Gymnastics coaching qualification but if you have experience and are not yet qualifed we would still like to speak to you.
