Sunshine Nursery is looking for a dedicated and reliable cleaner to join our friendly team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize nursery areas, including staff and children’s toilets.
• Empty bins and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Hoover and mop floors in classrooms and corridors.
• Support with nursery laundry – folding and putting away as needed.
• Replenish supplies such as hand soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Report any maintenance issues or repairs promptly to management.

Requirements

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a small cleaning/support team.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
• Friendly and professional attitude, especially in a childcare environment.
• Must be available between 5:00PM – 6:00PM each weekday, 1 additional hour from 6:00PM - 7:00PM on Fridays and Sunday afternoon/evening hours for a deep clean
• An Enhanced DBS check will be required (paid for by the nursery).
