Do you want to be part of the team at the number one students’ union in the UK?

If you have the energy and enthusiasm to assist us in achieving our goal of making life better for our students, we have the ideal opportunity for you to join our membership services team.

You will be required to assist the Student Experience Manager in delivering effective representation across the University and support a wide range of activities and services at our Uxbridge campus. You will be the primary staff contact on this campus for general enquiries and as such will need to be knowledgeable about the entire breadth of the Union’s offer from representation and advice through to volunteering, events and sport. You will also be responsible for developing key relationships with University staff in order that students are represented effectively and get the most from our unique offer. Finally, as Student Engagement Co-ordinator, you will need to work collaboratively with a wide range of Union staff.

Whilst this role encompasses a broad spectrum of activity, applicants should be advised that the majority of their time will be spent working on student representation with the post holder responsible for students attached to the School of Nursing and Allied Health. You will also assist the Student Experience Manager on our engagement work with collaborative partners and as such, will need to support students based at the High Wycombe campus, Aylesbury campus and our partner colleges as well.

Bucks Students’ Union is a democratic, student-led organisation whose mission is to make life better for students at Bucks. We are committed to improving the student experience and actively seek to bring positive change to student life.

We value student officers, volunteers and employees with ideas and personality and believe that lively, active and vibrant people shape our organisation.

The role attracts excellent opportunities to work in a creative and fun environment and for personal development.
