Your project management role will primarily be to successfully manage a large registration project for an event for 2500-3000 people. This is a repeat event which we have handled on behalf of a valued and established client, a well-known fast-food restaurant chain, since 2011 which occurs every 3 years and in 2024 is taking place in Glasgow at the SEC.

This includes:

  • Being the key point of communication between NICE and the client
  • Being key point of communication between NICE and the invitees
  • Producing and sending daily and weekly registration reports to the client
  • On the phone help with registration queries (going live in June 2024)
  • Collating data from the registration site to allocate hotel rooms and manage hotel room lists for all hotels (up to 30 hotels) being used including approx. 1400 people into twin rooms
  • Briefing all hotels on client expectations and other requirements such as luggage drops and F&B requirements
  • Working with the registration site supplier to supply them with all the information they need in order to send out final event and accommodation details to all attendees
  • Sourcing restaurants for smaller groups arriving the night prior to the conference
  • Generally acting as help and support to all attendees with queries throughout from the date the registration goes live in June to post event
  • Onsite support will be required from Monday - Friday during the event week (7th - 11th October 2024)

Ideally this would be a 7-month fixed term contract commencing in April or could be shortened to a 6-month fixed term contract commencing in May.

Place of work: Thame, OX9 3SE

Usual hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm with the exception of any site visits and the week of the event.

Holiday: 22 days per annum pro rata

Salary: £18,000 per annum / £1,500 per calendar month
