Trainee Duty Manager

To assist the operation of the Students’ Union venues - a 250 capacity Lounge bar and a 600 capacity Main Club Venue - along with multiple external hires on and off site. Excellent opportunities for personal development!

Salary: £18,009 per annum FTE

Full time, fixed term until June 2022 (with the potential for extension/permanent role)

 

Events Coordinator

To directly assist the Events & Licensed Trade Manager in devising, promoting, delivering and evaluating a wide-ranging programme of events for our membership and the wider community.

Salary: £19,133 per annum FTE

Full time, fixed term until July 2022 (with the potential for extension/permanent role)

 

Administration Assistant

As part of the finance and administration team, this role will introduce you to all aspects of business support, including some basic book-keeping and you will help provide general administrative support to all the student-facing teams at the Union.

Salary: £18,342 per annum FTE 

Full time, term time only, fixed term until July 2022 (with the potential for extension/permanent role)

 

Student Opportunity - Freshers Helpers and Head Freshers Helpers

To help students integrate into Bucks New Uni and the local community and provide a friendly welcome to new students during their first few weeks of term.

A varied and interesting role, this opportunity includes stewarding responsibilities as well as that of door entry and running the cloakroom.

A varied and interesting role, you will work closely with other security and venue staff ensuring the delivery of our duty of care to all customers.

Student Opportunity - Event Technician

A varied and interesting role, this opportunity includes running the entire production for all live nights within a team of 5.

 

Student Opportunity - Employability Ambassador

Responsible for supporting and developing the recreational and skills programme for your school, one of your key responsibilities as an ambassador will be the promotion of all activities to increase participation and enhance membership development.

 

Student Opportunity - School Officer

As school officer you would head up representation in your school, liaising with student reps to ensure that you have a sound understanding of the issues affecting students across the variety of courses within your school.

 

Student Opportunity - Bucks Buddy

This is a unique project funded by the University who are aiming to make the transition into Higher Education as easy as possible by preparing, supporting, reassuring and welcoming new students to Bucks from the moment that they apply, helping them integrate during the first few weeks and then on until the beginning of the January term. In addition, we hope to convert more students that apply to Bucks to those that become Bucks students.
