Join a dynamic team and help us fulfil our mission of making life better for students at Bucks. We were recently ranked in the top 3 Students' Union in the UK.
Bucks Students' Union is a democratic, student-led organisation whose mission is to ensure students have a happy and memorable time at Bucks and offer the best support in this life changing experience. We are committed to improving the student experience and actively seek to bring positive change to student life.
We value student officers, volunteers and employees with ideas and personality and believe that lively, active and vibrant people shape our organisation.
As school officer you would head up representation in your school, liaising with student reps to ensure that you have a sound understanding of the issues affecting students across the variety of courses within your school.
This is a unique project funded by the University who are aiming to make the transition into Higher Education as easy as possible by preparing, supporting, reassuring and welcoming new students to Bucks from the moment that they apply, helping them integrate during the first few weeks and then on until the beginning of the January term. In addition, we hope to convert more students that apply to Bucks to those that become Bucks students.
Responsible for supporting and developing the recreational and skills programme, one of your key responsibilities as an ambassador will be the promotion of all activities to increase participation and enhance membership development.
