The Time Has Officially Come: Thank You and Farewell

The time has officially come! My time as an officer has come to an end.

It has been an absolute pleasure and privilege to work alongside you all over the past year, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have been part of such an amazing team. Looking back, I feel incredibly proud of everything we have achieved together and the memories we have created along the way.

Throughout the year, we have achieved some fantastic things. From increasing participation in sports, supporting the creation of new societies, delivering volunteering opportunities, and creating skills and development sessions for students, it has been incredible to see the impact of the work we have all put in.

Seeing students get involved, develop new skills, create new opportunities, and take part in activities they may not have otherwise experienced has been one of the most rewarding parts of this role. It has been amazing to watch the community continue to grow and see the passion and enthusiasm that students and staff bring every day.

What has made this experience so special has been the people I have had the opportunity to work with. The support, encouragement, and enthusiasm from everyone around me has made this year truly memorable, and I will always appreciate the time, effort, and passion that everyone has brought to making our community such a great place.

I also want to take a moment to reflect on how much I have personally developed throughout this year. This role has challenged me, helped me build confidence, and allowed me to develop skills that I will carry with me into the future. I have learned so much from the people around me and from the experiences I have had, and I will always look back on this year with immense pride and many fond memories.

As one chapter comes to an end, another exciting one begins. I am delighted to be starting my next journey by joining the Police, and I am really looking forward to the challenges, opportunities, and experiences that come with this new chapter.

The skills and experiences I have gained throughout my time as an officer will undoubtedly stay with me and help shape me as I move into this next role. Working with different people, supporting students, creating opportunities, and being part of a community has taught me so much, and I am excited to take those lessons forward.

Although my time as an officer is ending, I will always be grateful for this chapter and for everyone who has supported me along the way. Thank you to everyone who has worked with me, encouraged me, and helped make this year such a fantastic experience.

I leave with nothing but gratitude, pride, and some incredible memories. Thank you for making this year so special. I cannot wait to see what the future holds.

For the last time,

Joe, Vice President Achievement and Belonging.
