The List of Charities Shortlisted are: 

 

 Burps - We are the charity dedicated to making a difference for families on the Stoke Mandeville Neonatal Intensive Care Unit,  

  • To fund equipment for the unit, over and above what the NHS can provide 
  • To improve facilities for families.  

  • To improve support available for parents. 

 

Bucks Vision - We’re here to support you through all the stages and severity of sight loss. People lose their sight for a wide variety

of reasons, including age related conditions, genetic conditions and eye-health problems. However, losing your sight does not necessarily

mean losing your independence, nor does it mean that you need to struggle alone or lose contact with people. 

 

 The Horse Trust The charity continually adapts to meet the growing needs of retired service horses, responding to modern challenges

in animal welfare and expanding its support as more horses require lifelong care. Many of the horses cared for by the Trust have served in

the police or military, showing remarkable bravery in high-pressure and often dangerous situations. 

 

Tiggywinkles - Tiggywinkles is a free wildlife hospital and one of the busiest, most advanced centres of its kind in the world.

Everything we do has one clear purpose: to rehabilitate and return every possible patient back to the wild — where they belong 

 

Thames Valley Air Ambulance - Thames Valley Air Ambulance is the charity that gives everybody in our community the best chance of

surviving and recovering from an emergency. Bringing hospital-level care to you by land and air. Medicine and equipment. Paramedics and

doctors. Our team are highly trained and ready for any eventuality. Giving you the best chance when the worst happens. Together, we do

everything in our power to protect, save and revive lives with the best critical care at the scene and beyond.

 

Rokil - ROKIL is a specialist provider dedicated to fostering the full potential of children under 14, across the entire spectrum of early development. Our

core mission is built on the belief that engaging with high-quality arts-based learning, primarily music, is essential for a child's cognitive, emotional,

and social growth. 

 

 Young Deaf Activities - Young Deaf Activities, YDA is focused on young people of all ages who are deaf and deafblind* who live or enjoy activities in Buckinghamshire.

Our aim is to bring young deaf and deafblind* members together to have fun by arranging Saturday Youth Clubs, monthly Parent Support Groups, holiday events and

other activities. We also offer families with deaf and deafblind* children British Sign Language Lessons and communication support within the home. 

 

Yes Wycombe - YES believes that all young people should have access to the mental health support they need, whenever they need it. To enable this, we

provide a range of early-intervention mental health support and wellbeing services for young people 

 

 Wycombe Youth Action -  Our work within the community aims to target and challenge attitudes and perceptions around young people. We complete multi-generational

and conservation projects to provide young people the chance to give back to their community, and provide them with the chance to both challenge and change the

stereotypes faced by young people today. 

 

 Emmetts Genies - Emmett’s Genies was founded to help bring some Magic into the lives of children with critical or life-limiting conditions. We work with our

wish granting partners to enhance the experiences of these children and their families. 

 

The Pepper Foundation -  The Pepper Foundation provides funding for children's hospice at home care for children with life-limiting and life-threatening

conditions in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. 

 

Hungary Hearts - Local charity branch in Penn and they recue dogs from the killing stations in Hungary. 

 

Sports Aid Eastern - Sports Aid eastern has a wide-ranging trust deed within the fields of education, disability and social welfare to:  
i. further the education of young people through the medium of sport 
ii. encourage those with social and physical disadvantages to improve their lives through sport 
iii. enable those living in poverty to take advantage of the opportunities offered by sport
