Sports Report

After another week of flooded pitches and freezing temperatures, winter really is upon us. Nevertheless, some of our fixtures went ahead…

Our Men's Football 1st team took the pitch by storm last week with a 4-3 win against Sussex. This means our 1st team are through to the next round of the cup. This week they play away to Royal Holloway. A win against Royal Holloway will take our boys to the top of the league, a very exciting game indeed.

Women’s Football also took home a 4-3 win when they played against Reading and now have a well deserved week off before their final game ahead of the Winter holiday.

After their last triumphant win, Men’s Hockey unfortunately couldn't secure another win, and it wasn't on the cards for the Women’s Hockey team either as both teams unfortunately lost 3-0. They have promised us a more successfull game for this week, so we will keep our fingers crossed for them.

Netball’s 1st team played away to Reading last week and the girls came back with another fantastic 49-36 win and are through to the next round of the cup. Unfortnately, our Women’s Volleyball team are now out of the cup after their 3-0 loss at home last week to Middlesex.

A huge congratulations to our Team of the Week, Netball 1st team, for their sixth win consecutive win of the season. We’d also like to shout out all of the Players of the Match, and wish everyone good luck for their fixtures this week, hopefully, the weather will treat us better.
