We are creating the Bangladeshi Society to bring together Bangladeshi students and anyone interested in Bangladeshi culture at Buckinghamshire New University. We want to create a friendly and supportive community where students can make new friends, share experiences, celebrate our culture, and help each other settle into university life. Through social events, cultural celebrations, networking opportunities, and community activities, we hope to promote diversity, cultural awareness, and a sense of belonging for all students.
Sessions
Our society plans to meet on campus every two weeks during term time. Meetings will usually take place in a university classroom or student activity space, depending on availability. We will also organise additional social events, cultural celebrations, and networking activities throughout the academic year. Meeting times will be arranged to suit the majority of members and will be communicated in advance through our social media channels and group chats.
