Venue Technician - Student Opportunity

£14.57 per hour

Within a small team, you will play your part in the delivery of production for all live nights including club, comedy and acoustic sets.

 

Event Security - Student Opportunity

£15.13 per hour

A varied and interesting role, you will work closely with other security and venue staff ensuring the delivery of our duty of care to all customers.

 

Bar Team Member - Student Opportunity

£14.24 per hour

As a Bar Team Member at Bucks Students’ Union, you will contribute to the effective operation of our bar and event spaces, supporting the delivery of a high-quality service to students and guests.

 

Bar Supervisor - Student Opportunity

£15.13 per hour

This role provides an opportunity to build leadership experience within a fast-paced hospitality setting, while playing a key role in delivering a vibrant and engaging campus experience.

 

Food and Beverage Assistant - Student Opportunity

£14.24 per hour

To ensure the provision of a high-quality service is championed at all times and generally assist in revenue generation and stock control within the Students’ Union catering operation.

 

Freshers Helper - Student Opportunity

£14.24 per hour

Freshers’ Helpers play a key role in helping new students transition and settle into university life and the local community. You will provide a warm, confident welcome, support students as they begin their journey at BNU, and help them engage with the Students’ Union, University services, and each other.

 

Head Helper - Student Opportunity

£15.13 per hour

Head Freshers’ Helpers play a crucial leadership role within the Welcome and Orientation team. Building on the responsibilities of a Freshers’ Helper, Head Helpers provide on shift supervision, ensure smooth delivery of activities, and support both the Project Coordinator and the wider Students’ Union team. This role requires strong reliability, confidence, communication skills, and the ability to motivate and guide others.

 

Bucks Buddy

This is a unique project funded by the University who are aiming to make the transition into Higher Education as easy as possible by preparing, supporting, reassuring and welcoming new students to Bucks from the moment that they apply, helping them integrate during the first few weeks and then on until the beginning of the January term. In addition, we hope to convert more students that apply to Bucks to those that become Bucks students.
