About Me

Describe your role
As your President, my job is to make sure our members, the students of BNU, are being looked after. I help sustain the relationship between the University and the Union and represent our members in numerous meetings. I also engage with national student movements as well as researching student issues within our own community and, by listening to our members, campaign to have these resolved.
If you'd like to get in touch with me, feel free to drop me an email at su.president@bucks.ac.uk.
Why did you run for the role?
I became passionate about the Student' Union and helping my fellow students through my roles as Chair of the Boxing Society and School Officer for Art, Design and Performance. These positions gave me a chance to connect with the wider student body and people from all walks of life. I was lucky enough to be told some truly incredible and beautiful stories by many students and realised the true impact of having a safe and inclusive place like the Union, and decided I wanted to be a part of it.
What are your priorities for the year?
- Continue making Bucks an inclusive space for all
- Keeping students safe
- Supporting our International Community
- Helping students through the cost of living crisis.
What about when you're off-duty?
I still love to box and head to the gym when I can. I’m also a performing arts teacher, freelance fire performer and makeup artist, so its fair to say there’s never a dull moment, which is how I like it! When I’m not super busy, you can catch me being an absolute geek about Star Wars, Transformers or the Marvel and DC universe. I’m also a big Everton fan, which can be very painful at times, but I love heading down to the pub to watch the match.
What's your favourite ice-cream flavour?
Anything along the caramel/toffee/honeycomb lines. Always in a cone with a flake!
