Celebrate the Festival of Lights with this week's Crafts Lunch — a creative and colourful midday break filled with festive fun! ✨
Join us on 19th October, 1–2pm in N1.05 (Lecture Theatre 5, Upper Floor near the Student Lounge) for a hands-on session where you can unwind, get creative, and learn about Diwali traditions through beautiful crafts.
— Session will be led by Simranjit Kaur
Food will be provided as long as you show your inner artist!
We’ll have everything you need to make your own festive creations:
👜 Stencil Tote Bag Painting – decorate your own cotton tote using rangoli, mandala, or diya stencils and bright acrylic paints.
🎨 Stencil Card Painting – design mini rangoli-inspired cards to add to our collaborative “Wall of Light.”
🏮 Paper Lantern Making – fold, cut, and craft colourful Aakash Kandil lanterns to hang around the room.
🕯️ Mini Paper Diwali Candles – create glowing paper diyas or tealight holders to lighten up the room.
All your work will be used to decorate the Student Hub for the following Day! (Unless you'd like to take it home).
