What is a Union Council Chair?
Union Council is the top decision-making body of Bucks Students’ Union. Students help set the agenda, hold officers accountable, and influence change that impacts every student’s university experience.
At the centre of it all is the Union Council Chair, a student leader elected by their peers to guide discussions, ensure every voice is heard, and turn ideas into action. As Chair, you’ll run meetings, shape policies, and create a space where students can raise the issues that matter most.
You'll gain leadership experience, boost your CV, and build confidence in communication, organisation, and teamwork. Plus, you’ll be part of the largest collective of student representatives at BNU.
