Description: 
Discover Bucks Museum is housed in a group of historic buildings — including a 15th-century guildhall and the former grammar school — that together provide a beautifully atmospheric setting for the county’s heritage. 
It is operated by an independent charity that looks after over 130,000 objects telling the story of Buckinghamshire from 200 million years ago to the present day.
Whats there:
	- Permanent Galleries: Interactive and immersive displays guide visitors through geology, archaeology, social history, costume, art and natural history—showing how people, places and landscapes in Bucks have evolved over millennia. 
 
- Special Exhibitions & Events: The museum hosts a changing programme of themed exhibitions, workshops and family-friendly activities throughout the year—from science and art to hands-on craft sessions. 
 
- Roald Dahl Children's Gallery: Situated within the museum site, this vibrant, interactive space is inspired by the beloved author’s stories and is designed to spark children’s curiosity through play, science and imaginative exploration. 
 
- Garden & Café: Outside the historic buildings lies a lovely walled garden with tables and seating—ideal for a rest between galleries. There’s also an on-site café and museum shop.
