About the role

Our Part-Time Student programme is designed to provide ambitious students with real commercial experience whilst they study. For the first time, we are offering a fully remote part-time opportunity that can be undertaken whilst you continue your university studies. You'll work on genuine business operations, including appointment setting, outbound sales, client onboarding calls, and supporting our commercial teams. This is a unique opportunity to earn income alongside your degree, build valuable work experience for your CV, and potentially secure a full-time role before graduation.

Day-to-day, you'll be creating personalised SendSpark videos for outreach campaigns, reaching out to potential clients via LinkedIn, booking appointments for our London-based team by following up on enquiries and outbound campaigns, conducting client onboarding calls, supporting operational tasks across various departments, and adapting to wherever the business needs support. You'll need to be confident and mature in both video and phone calls, as you'll be representing GoGorilla.com to potential and existing clients.

Part-time working pattern and flexibility

This is a flexible, remote part-time role designed to fit perfectly around your university schedule. The role starts as a one-month trial period, with the opportunity to extend for the duration of your degree based on performance. Work part-time during term time with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week, with the option to increase hours during university holidays when your schedule allows. You'll submit your schedule at least two weeks in advance so we can plan workloads and assign tasks accordingly.

What you will be doing in this part-time role

  • Create personalised SendSpark video recordings for sales pitches and outreach campaigns.
  • Reach out to potential clients via LinkedIn when they don't respond to our initial outreach.
  • Book appointments for our London-based team by following up on enquiries and outbound campaign responses.
  • Conduct client onboarding calls and support new client setup processes.
  • Assist with operational tasks across sales, partnerships, and client success departments.
  • Adapt to business needs and take on sales-related tasks as required.
  • Learn from experienced professionals and contribute to real business outcomes.
  • Build a professional network and gain valuable commercial experience.
  • Develop skills in communication, sales, and business operations.
  • Work on projects that directly impact company growth and client success.
  • Communicate your availability proactively, updating us as soon as your university timetable changes to ensure effective workload planning.

What you will bring

  • Current university student with strong academic performance.
  • Active LinkedIn profile with at least 50 connections.
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence and maturity in both video and phone calls with professionals.
  • Confidence on camera and an engaging presentation style.
  • A suitable working environment for making business calls (we provide company Zoom backgrounds, so you don't need to worry about your background).
  • Adaptability and willingness to take on varied tasks as business needs change.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Passion for business, sales, or marketing and desire to build commercial skills.
  • International students: We welcome applications from international students who have the legal right to work in the UK. This includes Tier 4/Student visa holders who can work up to 20 hours during term time and full-time during holidays. Valid work authorisation is required before starting.

  • Hourly rate: £12-15 per hour (adjusted based on UK location and experience).
