Camp Manager and Activity Leader – High Wycombe

Active Day Camps are actively recruiting Activity Leaders and a Camp Manager to join our team for the launch of our newest camp venue starting this December Half Term!

December: 11th - 19th 2025 (continuous part time role in all school holidays)

About Active Day Camps:

Active Day Camps is a Children’s Activity Provider based in London. Providing fun, engaging and unforgettable memories in a safe environment where children can explore, learn and grow. ADC’s activities are available for children 4+. We offer a Multi Activity programme at our after-school clubs and across our camps, with a range of exciting activities such as Football, Netball, Dance, Dodgeball, Arts & Crafts, Drama, Go Karting and much more!

Our mission is to inspire children to live healthy, active lifestyles in a supportive and fun environment.

Role Overview:

As an Activity Leader at Active Day Camps, you are responsible for maintaining ADCs high standards and delivering a safe and fun holiday camp programme. You will take a proactive and energetic leadership role, managing groups of children. You will be responsible for delivering engaging activities, ensuring children’s safety and wellbeing through rigorous safeguarding practices, and creating a fun, inclusive environment. Your enthusiasm and vigilance will help maintain the highest standards of care and activity delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and supervise groups of children (10-20) during the camp day.

· Plan and deliver a variety of fun, safe, and age-appropriate activities, including sports, drama, arts & crafts, games, and structured play

. Create a fun and playful atmosphere for the children, keeping the activities varied and catered to the children’s interests

· Proactively safeguard and promote the welfare of all children, following Active Day Camps’ safeguarding policies and procedures

· Monitor children’s behaviour and wellbeing, intervening appropriately and recording any incidents as per policy

· Maintain a safe environment, adhering strictly to health & safety and safeguarding guidelines

· Ensure compliance with OFSTED and company documentation standards, including accident and incident reports

· Delegate tasks to your support coaches to deliver a smooth, well-organised club experience

· Actively engage with children to motivate and inspire participation and a positive attitude towards physical activity and creativity

· Reflect on activities to improve delivery and engagement, keeping it engaging and not too repetitive each term

· Be flexible and adaptable to meet the evolving needs of children and camp/club schedules

Person Specification:

· Energetic, proactive, and passionate about working with children

· Confident in managing and leading groups independently

· Committed to safeguarding and child protection at all times

· Strong communication and teamwork skills

· Reliable and punctual, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude

· Experience working with children in sports, coaching, arts, drama, or after-school settings preferred

· Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment

· UK/EU citizenship with continuous residence in the EU for the past 3 years (to meet regulatory requirements)

· Available Monday to Friday, 8:30 pm – 5:30 pm during school holidays.
