We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will facilitate smooth service by delivering food promptly from the kitchen to guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for the hospitality industry and a keen eye for detail. The Food Runner will work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to uphold high standards of service and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prepared dishes from the kitchen to designated tables swiftly and accurately, maintaining presentation standards.
• Assist in setting up dining areas and clearing tables to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
• Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks when required, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers regarding order status and guest needs.
• Ensure all food items are served at appropriate temperatures and in proper condition.
• Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including wiping down surfaces and organising utensils.
• Uphold excellent guest services by providing courteous and attentive assistance throughout the dining experience.
• Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper handling of food and cleaning procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of food preparation, delivery procedures, and food safety standards is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and good phone etiquette are essential for effective guest interactions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in meal preparation, serving, or as a barista or in hotel settings can be beneficial.
• A friendly attitude with excellent guest service skills and a professional demeanour.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
