At Aylesbury, your Students’ Union is based on the ground floor of the building, just next to the table tennis table. On Tuesdays (9am – 5pm) and every 3rd Friday (9am – 4:30pm), your Vice President Education and Welfare (Uxbridge and Aylesbury) will be on the campus, here for you to ask any questions, and running activities. Keep an eye on notices on the whiteboard and socials for regular updates about timings and what activity is taking place, as well as any updates.
We run recreational trips, additional skills sessions, recreational sport, volunteering opportunities and societies, such as Midwifery, and Nursing societies (check out the societies page for more info on societies).
We have an independent and confidential Advice Centre with specially trained advisors available for phone, teams, email, or face to face appointments in Uxbridge and High Wycombe. They offer essential support and guidance on a wide range of issues and if they can’t help, they’ll always direct you to the right place. Booking an appointment is simple, just head to the Advice Centre section of the website or email suadvice@bnu.ac.uk for more information.
We also run the Student Rep scheme, enabling you to make a positive change in and around your course and get rewarded for the work that you do. It couldn’t be simpler to get involved. For more information about student representation at the Aylesbury Campus or to find out who your student rep is, please email surepresentation@bnu.ac.uk
You name it, we do it. For more information, or to see what you can get involved with, check out our posterboards pop into the office or head to our What's On page.
Free Lunches:
You can collect a free lunch from the main reception/security desk on the campus. This is available on Mondays and Tuesday from 11:45am – 2pm. The current offer is a bottle of water, a packet of crisps and a pot noodle. Make sure to take your student ID with you.
