Life Drawing

Description: 

Interesting in drawing, and would like to try out life drawing? 

Life drawing is a form of art where you draw the human figure from observation, in general the model is nude. The model is normally held in certain poses, but can also be moving. 

The session starts at 7.30 but please arrive 10-15 minutes beforehand to get set up. It starts off with short poses to loosen up creative muscles, with poses increasing in length over the session. After a 15-minute refreshment break, there will be one or two longer poses. The evening ends with a chance to enjoy each other’s work and swap ideas.

Bring your own pens, pencils, paper and any other materials that you may need. There will also be a supply of basic materials such as charcoal, pencils and paper to help you get started. Drawing boards are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own easel or other equipment.
