Do you like history or want to know more about the Battle of Britain?
Come and join us at the Battle of Britain Bunker where you can experience what it was like in the bunker, how they ran the RAF in the bunker and which key decisions were made.
The Bunker is a series of rooms on two levels some 60 feet (18 metres) underground. The Operations Room- or plotting room- with its large map table, squadron display boards, balloon and weather states, is exactly how it was when Winston Churchill visited on 15 September 1940.
The Battle of Britain Bunker is in Uxbridge, which is close to our campus in Uxbridge.
Thanks to The Big Deal you have saved £12
The bunker is down 77 steps and there is no lift as the building is Grade I listed. However the visitor centre is fully accesible.
