Are you passionate about education, curriculum design, and resource creation? Do you enjoy working collaboratively with others to improve teaching and learning? We’re looking for a Curriculum & Learning Development Assistant to support the academic growth of students across our Bucks Tutorial Centres.
About the Role:
You’ll play a key role in shaping the learning experience at our tuition centres by helping to:
- Develop and refine curriculum plans across a range of subjects (primary through GCSE)
- Research best teaching practices and curriculum content aligned with UK national standards and exam board specifications
- Source or create engaging resources and worksheets for use in small-group and 1:1 tuition
- Liaise with tutors to understand subject needs and tailor resources accordingly
- Support the induction and ongoing training of new and existing tutors, including preparing training materials
- Contribute to our mission of ensuring high-quality, accessible learning for all students
Ideal Candidate:
- A university student, graduate, or career-changer with a background in education, teaching, or a related field
- Organised, proactive, and passionate about helping students succeed
- Familiar with the UK curriculum and/or GCSE/11+ content (or willing to learn quickly)
- Comfortable leading short tutor training sessions or inductions (training provided)
- Experience in tutoring, teaching or resource development is a plus, but not essential
Working Hours & Pay:
- Minimum of 4 hours per week, with room to grow based on availability and demand
- Fully in-person (you’ll work from one of our centres with some travel to others as needed)
- Pay up to £15/hour, depending on experience
- Initial 6-month role with possibility of extension or progression
