Intuitiv are a well-established website design and development agency based in between Oxford and Thame (about 5 mins off M40 J8) – postcode HP18 9HX.  We are based in a lovely refurbished public house, in the village of Ickford, and are currently working in a mixture of Covid-safe office work & remote homeworking.

We’ve been around since 1996 and have built up a wide and varied set of clients from large blue-chips right the way down to smaller, local SMEs. We work at the more technical end of website development with our core expertise being the build of bespoke, responsive business driven web applications. These range from beautifully presented brochure sites right the way through to eCommerce sites, complex online calculators, learning platforms, and business management and MI portals.

To complement our web design and development services we also operate and manage our own highly robust hosting infrastructure for the secure hosting of all our web applications.

The Role

We’re looking for a bright and enthusiastic junior web developer to join our small but established team working on a number of ongoing innovative projects. The ideal candidate would be someone with demonstrable experience of working with Microsoft Visual Studio - using ASP.NET / MVC, and with a basic understanding of the various underlying front end technologies (HTML / CSS / Javascript), and programming using C#, through to a sound and/or Microsoft SQL Server or other relational database exposure.

We are happy to consider junior applicants who do not have all the above mentioned experience.

Role Responsibilities

• Mixture of new projects and developments and maintenance of existing web applications
• Collaborate with design, development and business teams to ensure efficient delivery of projects within deadlines

Working Environment

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Intuitiv have migrated to a flexible / hybrid working model, typically with a 3 day office work / 2 day homeworking split, though this does vary depending on project requirements.

The successful applicant should therefore be happy to undertake travel to our offices in HP18 9HX for 3 days a week, and have an adequate home office / working environment in order to productively work for the remaining 2 days of the week. We are ideally after candidate in a maximum radius of 30 Miles from HP18 9HX.

Interview Process

Intuitiv conduct an initial 30 - 60 minute Video call, to ensure the fit is right between both us and any candidates.

Successful candidates are then invited to our offices for a face-to-face interview with the technical team, which involves a Personal Profile Test, completion of a technical Web Development test, and an inter-personal test.

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate any previous web based projects they have had significant involvement with, along with the roles involved.

Depending on candidate skills and experience.
